Why Anti4 Costs $0.10 Once Instead of $30 a Month
Most anti-detect browsers price per profile per month because they store and often run those profiles on their own servers, which costs them money every month. Anti4 runs entirely on your computer and stores profiles on your disk, so there is no recurring cost — hence one payment of $0.10 per device.
What you are actually paying for elsewhere
When a product charges per profile per month, that price is usually covering real recurring costs:
- Cloud storage for every profile's cookies, history and session data
- Sync infrastructure so a team sees the same profile from several machines
- Hosted browsers for cloud-run automation
- Support, account management and compliance for all of the above
Those are legitimate costs. If you need those features, paying monthly is reasonable — you are renting infrastructure that genuinely runs every day.
What Anti4 does instead
Anti4 has none of that infrastructure, because profiles never leave your machine. Our server does exactly two things:
- Verifies a licence key once, when you activate a device
- Tells the app which browser build to download on first run
Both are cheap and neither scales with how many profiles you create. So charging you monthly would be charging rent on a building nobody occupies.
The trade-off is real. No cloud means no team sharing, no cross-device sync and no hosted automation. That is the price of the price. We wrote it out plainly in the comparison article.
Why per device and not per profile
Profiles are a folder on your disk. It costs us nothing whether you make five or five hundred, so metering them would be an artificial limit invented purely to bill you.
Devices are the honest unit: one key activates one machine, once, for life. Need three machines? Three keys. That is $0.30.
The obvious question: is $0.10 sustainable?
Fair to ask, and worth answering directly rather than dodging.
The costs that scale with users are the licence server and the browser download, both of which are small and mostly served by a CDN. Development is a fixed cost, not a per-user one. Volume covers it; nothing about the model requires us to raise prices later to survive.
What we cannot promise is a large support organisation. At this price there is no budget for one. If you need guaranteed response times, a subscription product with a support contract is the more honest fit.
What a one-time key protects you from
- Renewal lockout. A lapsed subscription can cut you off from profiles you built over months. A one-time key cannot expire.
- Price increases. What you paid is what you paid.
- Vendor disappearance. Profiles are on your disk, and a cached licence verifies offline. If we vanish, your existing installs keep working.
The minimum order
Keys are sold in batches of at least ten ($1.00) because network fees on a smaller payment would cost more than the order. Unused keys do not expire, so extras keep for later machines.
