Most multi-account bans have nothing to do with fingerprints. They trace to a shared payment method, a reused recovery email, or a behaviour pattern no human produces. What gets accounts linked, in order of weight?
Platform trust systems weight signals by how unlikely they are to be shared innocently. A payment card used on two seller accounts is very unlikely to be coincidence. A shared browser language is meaningless. Sellers usually invest in the middle of this list while leaving the top of it wide open.

Why does behaviour matter as much as identity?
Trust systems profile timing as well as identity. Twelve accounts that all log in within a 20-minute window every morning, list the same number of items, and go idle at the same hour describe one operator, not twelve people. How long after the mistake does the ban arrive?
Rarely the same day. Linking evidence accumulates over weeks, and platforms frequently act on it during an unrelated review — a payout hold, a customer complaint, a policy sweep. An account can run for 3 or 6 months on a shared payment method before anything happens.
